在使用中，动作要尽可能的轻开轻关，不要用力过大过猛；电动伸缩门的开启时，发现有阻碍，应先排除故障。内开内倾窗、折叠电动伸缩门等高档电动伸缩门要严格按说明操作。

经常检查电动伸缩门的各类五金配件，如发现有损坏现象时及时进行修理或更换，五金件用久了，可涂少许的火蜡油或者滴些机油，减少摩擦力，保持电动伸缩门的开启关闭轻松灵活。电动伸缩门的密封毛条和玻璃胶条是密封保温的关键两个部件，如有老化松脱的情况，应该及时更换。
